The hotel's central location near major attractions and the Douro River is convenient. The rooms are spacious, well-priced, and feature two comfortable beds.

Laurence
This place offers spacious rooms with reasonable prices and amenities like a fridge and kitchen utensils, situated just outside the central area.

Well-maintained venue, different food, excellent location outside of the centre of the city. Having a kitchenette area, complimentary Wi-Fi and a minibar in our extremely pleasant room. Big beds, amazing and great breakfast.

Hotel services and staff. Breakfast is also very good. The location too although on foot was about 10 minutes from one of the main shopping streets of Porto
Cleaning. Lack of a little more cleanliness, especially in the bathroom. receptionist was told on the second day that the bathroom floor was dirty when we arrived, black, with large stains but it remained the same throughout the room. another detail, for a three-star hotel, it's not right that the bottom of the duvet and sheet are broken. then the noise. Although the windows are double glazed but clear as it is summer and although there is air conditioning in the room, if you leave the window open when you face a main street with traffic, then you can hear quite a lot of noise

I found the breakfast quite complete, lots of pastries, fruit salad, salty things like ham, cheese, boiled eggs, juices, coffee... The bathroom, with respect to the size of the room, was quite large. We were able to leave the suitcase in "consignment" both before the check-in on arrival and after the check-out on departure. The street of the hotel is the most commercial street of Porto, with many shops, cafes, etc. although it is true that the area where the hotel is located is a little more removed from the hustle and bustle. The receptionists all understood you perfectly speaking Spanish and were friendly.
The bed was a bit "short". I guess it was about 6 feet tall and I'm about 6 feet tall, so my feet were a little bit off and it was a little uncomfortable. We didn't have much luck with the room because it was a first floor and overlooked the main street, so you could hear the cars quite a bit (despite the double window). Anyway, at night there were not too many cars and we could sleep well. I'm sure there are quieter rooms on higher floors or in the back. After checking in I had to tell them that we were missing the big towels (the shower ones) in our room and they told me not to worry that when we came back at night we would have them, and we did. Although the street is commercial and quite central but to get to the hotel you have to climb a long hill and get away from the central area.

Helpful staff, good location, clean rooms, decent breakfast, spacious family room.
Didn't dislike anything.

I feel that the room quality and breakfast which is included were a good value for the price I paid to stay there. The staff were friendly and the breakfast has quite a few options to choose from. Also, it is a bit further from the city centre (20min?) and a bit of an uphill walk but as it's on the main shopping street, it's kind of nice to take your time browsing the shops and having a coffee on the way up/down.
On two of the three nights I stayed, there was quite a bit of loud noise coming from the lobby on the main floor which I could hear from my room on the second floor. This could be due to the soccer matches they were playing in the bar? Also, Wifi is only available in the bar which is a bit inconvenient if you would like to use skype.

The cleanliness leaves something to be desired. Very noisy. The bathroom is very small (no shelf).

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel located on Rua Santa Catarina, a bustling shopping street in the heart of the city center. The location was perfect, with easy access to all the main attractions and travel services. I was able to explore Porto and even visit nearby cities like Braga, Guimrais, and Aveiro thanks to the hotel's convenient location.
Everything was fine.

Price Room was Modern and Clean Free WIFI
Service at breakfast was very poor. Only 1 unfriendly staff member topping up food at the buffet so guests were constantly waiting for food/drink to appear and within seconds buffet was empty of basics like egg sausages rolls, kettle empty of water. This was in the middle of the breakfast period 9.15 - 9.30.

Very friendly staff, the room was very tidy and was recently decorated to a modern standard. Bed was okay. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Free wifi was available in our room. The hotel is situated near the Trindade metro station, which is the main metro station of the city. The historical centre and the Douro river are only a 10-minute walk away. Great value for money.

This hotel was great value for money, especially considering its location on a busy shopping street in the city center! The staff was incredibly attentive, from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The basic amenities in the rooms were more than sufficient, and the inclusion of a fridge and utensils was a nice added touch. Moreover, the breakfast, which was included, offered a variety of options, although I wish they had replaced the old fruits sitting there.
All in all, the hotel was ok, but there is one aspect that could be improved.

Buffet breakfast was of excellent standard. Room was basic but clean and of acceptable standard.
We were at the back of the hotel & found it quiet, however, other members of family had three rooms at the front of the hotel and did not sleep all night due to screeching of car tyres and people shouting throughout the night on the road infront of the hotel. *** Would only recommend this hotel on the previso that a room at the rear is booked.*****
